The sad fact, the teenager who stole my identity was sent to prison for only 3-5 years however only served 18 months, while my credit was completely destroyed and my life turned upside down. I'm still carrying documentation around proving I'm who I say I am. Avoid the headaches I suffered and a file shredder.
